Instructions:

  • Shell 3 cups of red walnuts (best done in a group setting with friends and family)
  • Blend red walnuts for 30 seconds
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Press walnuts against the pan as the crust
  • Add 4 tablespoons of butter or coconut oil on top of the pie crust
  • Add glass pie pan and pie crust to microwave for ten seconds
  • Spread butter or oil all over crust
  • Add pie crust and pan into oven for ten minutes
  • Remove pie pan from the oven
  • Cool pie crust before adding filling for best results
