Homemade Granola Recipe

Serves:  12

Prep Time: 20 Minutes 

Cook Time: 90 Minutes 

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups oats
  • 2 cups organic red walnuts
  • 2 cups organic hazelnuts
  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions:

1. Chop the walnuts and hazelnuts to your desired consistency.

2. Stir the oats, nuts, and coconut together

3. Melt the coconut oil and whisk in the maple syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla

4. Pour the liquids over the oat mixture and stir until well-combined. 

5. Spread evenly across two cookie sheets.

6. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Every 15 minutes, stir the granola and rotate the cookie sheets. 

7. After an hour and a half, your granola is done! You can eat it warm or store it in an air-tight container for up to 4 weeks.
